Under this agreement 560 WQAM will broadcast all 82 regular season games and playoff games, with Panthers radio broadcaster “Red Deer” Randy Moller calling all the action.
WQAM afternoon drive host Sid Rosenberg announced the partnership during his show today, live from the BankAtlantic Center during the first Cats Cookout of the summer hosted by General Manager Dale Tallon and Head Coach Pete DeBoer.
In honor of this new partnership, the Panthers and WQAM are offering full season tickets for $5.60 for the next 24 hours. To purchase tickets or for more information fans can call 954-835-PUCK or log on to FloridaPanthers.com.

I also want to take a moment to thank Executive VP & CMO Pedro Goncalves and VP of Broadcasting Randy Moller, as well as Joe Bell and his team at WQAM, for their tireless efforts in ensuring this mutually beneficial partnership. We look forward to once again working with 560 WQAM and developing the best radio broadcast for our hockey listeners in South Florida.”
“Who says you can’t go home again?” said VP & Market Manager for Beasley Miami Joe Bell. “The Panthers first radio broadcast was on WQAM and we are excited to have them back for the 2010-11 NHL season. We are also looking forward to Randy Moller not only being the voice of the Panthers, but an integral part of our overall programming. We look at this as a fully-integrated partnership, and we are excited not only about the product on the air, but also the ability to interact with the large and diverse audience that visits the BankAtlantic Center on a regular basis.”
The new partnership also includes weekly Panthers related programming and expanded exposure for the many of SSE’s operating entities including incredible ICE recreational skating facility and the BankAtlantic Center.
The Panthers will air a 30-minute pregame show prior to all weekday games that begin with a 7:30 puck drop, as well as a 15-minute postgame show. WQAM will also air a three-hour NHL Draft Show live from Duffy’s in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday, June 25, a preseason special in September, and a weekly Panthers Weekend show hosted by Randy Moller that will give fans an in-depth look at the team with interviews from players, coaching staff, front office executives and the NHL’s key media personalities.
In addition, 560 WQAM will broadcast a weekly coach’s show with Panthers head coach Peter DeBoer, individual player shows, as well as playoff related programming.
