Panthers and Nets Unveil “The 3 Spot” Draft Promotion

by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers
SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers Hockey Club and Nets Basketball jointly announced today “The 3 Spot” draft promotion, in which Panthers fans and Nets fans will have the opportunity to win the ultimate sports trip to the 2010 NBA Draft on June 24 in New York and the 2010 NHL Entry Draft on June 25 in Los Angeles. The Panthers and Nets both possess the third overall selection in their respective drafts.

As part of the promotion, two fans and their guests will win a dream trip to the NBA and NHL Drafts. The trips will include airfare, hotel accommodations and tickets to each event. Fans can enter to win on both FloridaPanthers.com and NJNets.com, with one winner being chosen from each site.

The promotion, which was created by Panthers president & COO Michael Yormark and his twin brother Nets CEO Brett Yormark, will be activated through each team’s internal media outlets including online, social media, database marketing, and more.

“’The 3 Spot’ is an incredibly unique promotion that breaks the mold when it comes to cooperative marketing among two sports franchises,” said Panthers president & COO Michael Yormark. “Always willing to push the envelope when it comes to rewarding our passionate fanbases, my brother and I are excited for our teams to work together to offer a grand prize that is second to none in the sports and entertainment industry.”

“We’re thrilled to team with the Panthers for a distinctive cross-team marketing initiative and to continue the exciting off-seasons for both teams,” said Brett Yormark. “The NETS and Panthers are all about providing extraordinary access and special experiences for our fans. The 3 Spot is another example of doing things differently.”
