Panthers Acquire Fourth Round Draft Pick In 2013 NHL Entry Draft from Calgary Flames

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers Executive VP/GM Dale Tallon announced today that the club has acquired a fourth round draft pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft from the Calgary Flames in exchange for F Corban Knight.

Florida currently owns the 2nd overall pick, as well as the first pick in the second round (31st overall). In addition, the Panthers now have three picks in the fourth round (92nd, 97th, 98th) and a fifth round and sixth round choice.

Knight, 22, was selected by Florida in the fifth round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The 2013 NHL Draft will take place at Prudential Center in Newark.  All seven rounds of the draft will take place Sunday, June 30th starting at 3 p.m. ET. ., NBC Sports Network presents live coverage starting at 3 p.m. ET, while NHL Network in the U.S. continues live coverage starting at 8 p.m. ET.
