Game Rescheduled for Monday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.
SUNRISE, FL – The National Hockey League announced today that the Saturday Oct. 22 game between the Ottawa Senators and the Florida Panthers at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla., has been rescheduled to Monday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m., due to the imminent weather conditions that are expected to impact the South Florida area as related to Hurricane Wilma.
Those fans holding tickets for Saturday night's game may use them for the rescheduled game on Monday, Dec. 5 or they can exchange them for a future Panthers game by calling (954) 835-PUCK. Patrons who have conflicts with the rescheduled date should go to their point of purchase for refund information.
"We feel that the NHL made the correct decision to reschedule Saturday's game as the South Florida community prepares for the arrival of Hurricane Wilma," said Sunrise Sports & Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Michael Yormark. "The league acted in the best interest of the fans, our employees and both hockey clubs."
