Wireless Provider Upgrades Longstanding Partnership With SSE

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that longstanding marketing partner MetroPCS has become a Pillar Partner.

As part of this multi-year partnership MetroPCS will have dominant concourse and in-arena signage and is now an official partner of SSE, the Florida Panthers and the BankAtlantic Center. In addition, MetroPCS will provide cellular phones in all of the BankAtlantic Center suites, three courtesy phones in the WCI Communities Private Club, and will present the VIP welcome list before each Florida Panthers home game with their trademark jingle, "Hello, hello, hello." MetroPCS will retain its stage on the BankAtlantic Center plaza level, providing entertainment before Panthers games, concerts and shows. Also, MetroPCS will receive all of the exclusive benefits and branding that comes with the Pillar Partner designation.

"We are extremely pleased MetroPCS has enhanced its extensive relationship with SSE by becoming a Pillar Partner." SSE chief operating officer Michael Yormark said. "MetroPCS has proven to be an aggressive sales and marketing company which is consistent with the foundation of our organization. This is fantastic indicator of the commitment MetroPCS has to our business and we are committed to helping their business grow through this relationship."

"The Bank Atlantic Center has established a solid reputation for being the number one destination for entertainment events in South Florida," said Leon Garza, Vice President and General Manager for MetroPCS. "MetroPCS has benefited greatly from this relationship and a Pillar Partnership will afford us further recognition in front of a diverse audience as one of South Florida's fastest growing wireless carriers."
