"This the biggest tour announcement of the last 10 years in South Florida and we are absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of entertainment history," Sunrise Sports & Entertainment chief operating officer Michael Yormark said. "As one of only 11 venues that Streisand will visit, it is further proof that the BankAtlantic Center is the 'Center of it All' for South Florida entertainment and one of the premier venues in the world."
"Streisand's tour is the top entertainment event in the country in 2006," said Eliot Weisman, Executive Vice President of Programming for the Sinatra Theatre presented by BankAtlantic. "It is quite a statement for her to choose the BankAtlantic Center over all the other available venues in the state of Florida."
