SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers and its parent company Sunrise Sports & Entertainment, LLC announced today that Jim Willits has been named Executive Vice President of Sales.
“Jim brings to our organization a tremendous amount of sales experience and knowledge in the professional sports and entertainment industry,” said Florida Panthers Executive Chairman Peter Luukko. “He will be responsible for overseeing the sales and service for season, premium, group and individual tickets for all Panthers games, as well as all events at BB&T Center.”

More than 5.6 million fans attended Flyers games during Willits’ tenure with the club.
Willits spent two seasons working in Major League Baseball, with the Cleveland Indians (2002-2004), serving as the team’s director of ticket sales. Prior to working in Cleveland, Willits spent six years with the Phoenix Coyotes (1996-2002), rising from an account executive to director of ticket sales.
Most recently, Willits served as vice president of sales for Pointstreak Sports Technologies, from July 2014 to February 2015.
