On tonight's big win...

I thought we bounced back after last night's game. It was important to see that. It's nice to win a game where your number one line probably wasn't on. They didn't create much tonight. It was nice to see Stumpel and Gelinas. They went almost all night against Forsberg and they got a couple of goals and played really well defensively. Probably up front, our best line was Booth, Gratton and Peltonen. They created several chances every period and they were a threat. It was nice to see.

On getting good performances out of the young guys...

Definitely. I think that's really important to get some production from different people and different lines. I mentioned that in the two games we lost to Carolina, we scored four goals and they all came from the same line. We need to get some production from other people. Penalty killing was strong. We killed two five-on-threes. Unfortunately, they got a goal on the five-on-three at the end of it, a five-on-four. It was kind of a misplayed puck that went in. The guys did an outstanding job.

On the necessity of getting this win...

Exactly. I think at least now we have an opportunity. With Montreal coming in, it isn't going to be easy but it's an opportunity to be over .500 for the first time for the month. I think we're 6-5 and 2 this month. We haven't been over .500 in October or November as far as a month's play. It's a big game for us against Montreal. We need to get some wins before we go on the road.

On getting a win on the second night of back to backs...

I don't know. I think early in the year we weren't playing that good and I think that was probably a factor. We got some big saves from Eddie tonight when he needed to. I thought Booth brought us some energy tonight and some speed right from the start of the game. So hopefully we can continue that way.

On the effectiveness of Belfour tonight...

I'm sure he'd like to have the goal back that went in. He has that ability after a goal to shut it down.
