HAWRYLUK HITS 100
On March 12 vs. Saskatoon, Jayce Hawryluk reached the 100-point mark for the first time in his WHL career. In 55 games this season, the Brandon Wheat Kings forward has recorded 101 points (43-58-101), a 36-point increase from his previous career-high 65 points in 54 games last season. Hawryluk has recorded at least three points in every game for the month of March and has accumulated 22 points (13-9-22) over his current six-game point streak.

Dryden Hunt (55 goals) and Hawryluk (43 goals) lead the Western Hockey League in goal scoring as one and two respectively. Hunt’s 111 points have him ranked second in the league for points, while Hawryluk ranks fourth.
MOVING TOWARDS A MILESTONE
Thomas Schemitsch is only three points away from his 100th OHL point. The Owen Sound Attack defenseman has two points (0-2-2) over his last three games and ranks second among defenseman on Owen Sound for goals (9), assists (22) and points (31).
The Panthers will have representation for the postseason in all three branches of the Canadian Hockey League.

-Lawson Crouse and Juho Lammikko – Kingston Frontenacs
The Frontenacs have already clinched their division and lead the OHL Eastern Conference with 93 points (44-16-3-2).
-Thomas Schemitsch – Owen Sound Attack
The Attack currently rank in sixth place of the OHL Western Conference and have punched their playoff ticket. They own a 31-23-8-3 record.
Western Hockey League
-Jayce Hawryluk – Brandon Wheat Kings
The Wheat Kings claimed an East Division title and leads the WHL Eastern Conference with 96 points (45-18-4-2).
-Dryden Hunt – Moose Jaw Warriors
In the same division as Hawryluk’s Wheat Kings, Hunt and the Warriors have clinched a spot currently as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference. Moose Jaw owns a 34-26-7-2 record.
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
-Samuel Montembeault – Blainville-Boisbriand Armada
Sharing the same division as the powerhouse Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, the Armada have clinched a spot as the fourth in the West Division. Blainville-Boisbriand owns a 25-32-7-2 record.

In the middle of a six-game winless streak, the Pirates will look to turn things around in Hartford on Friday. The Pirates fell 4-3 to the Wolf Pack on Sunday after surrendering their 3-2 lead in the game’s third period.
