The Rampage dropped the first game in the series 5-2. F Vincent Trocheck and F Rocco Grimaldi scored their first AHL postseason goals in the contest. G Dan Ellis made 33 saves on 36 shots in his first postseason game since April 13, 2011 when he played for the Anaheim Ducks (NHL).

In the second game of the five-game series, the Silver and Black stormed into the game tallying three unanswered goals. F Connor Brickley, F Corban Knight and F John McFarland found the back of the net for San Antonio. The Rampage ultimately surrendered their 3-0 lead, allowing three consecutive power play goals to the Barons. Forcing the game into overtime, Oklahoma City topped San Antonio 4-3. G Michael Houser took over goaltending duties for the injured Ellis, stopping 35 of 39 shots.

Back Home

The Rampage will look to rebound after two tough losses in Oklahoma City. Facing elimination on Wednesday at AT&T Center in San Antonio, the contest will be the Rampage’s first home game of the 2015 Calder Cup playoffs.

F John McFarland goes coast-to-coast to score against Oklahoma City. The assist was credited to D Alex Petrovic. The goal was McFarland's first career AHL playoff goal.


JUNIORS

- 2013 draft choice Christopher Clapperton (fifth round, 122nd overall) finished the regular season with 76 points (35-41—76) in 61 games and a +33 rating for Rimouski Oceanic (QMJHL). Clapperton has posted 16 points (9-7—16) in 11 playoff games for Rimouski. Clapperton and the Oceanic lead the Val-D’or Foreurs 2-0 in their third round series. Clapperton’s 16 points rank him eighth in QMJHL postseason scoring.

- 2014 draft choice Jayce Hawryluk (second round, 32nd overall) finished the regular season with 65 points (30-35—65) in 54 games and a +42 rating for the Brandon Wheat Kings (WHL). Hawryluk has recorded 12 points (7-5—12) in nine playoff games for Brandon. Hawryluk and the Wheat Kings lead the Calgary Hitmen 2-0 in their third round series. Hawryluk’s seven goals leads the Wheat Kings in playoff goals.

- 2013 draft choice Josh Brown (sixth round, 152nd overall) finished the regular season with a junior career-best 21 points (4-17—21) and plus-49 rating in 60 games with the Oshawa Generals (OHL). Brown serves as Oshawa’s Captain. Brown has recorded two points (1-1—2) and 13 penalty minutes in 12 playoff games with Oshawa. Brown and the Generals are tied 1-1 with the North Bay Battalion in their third round series.
