High School Hockey Night Returns to Iceplex On Nov. 15

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Florida Scholastic Hockey League’s High School Hockey Night will return to the Iceplex on Monday, Nov. 15 starting at 6 p.m. The event will mark the opening of the second year of High School Hockey Night and the thirteenth season of the FSHL, which was founded by Dr. Peter Pearlman in 1998. Over 2,000 people attended last year’s inaugural High School Hockey Night Event.

Beginning Nov. 15 and running through Monday, Feb. 14, High School Hockey Night will feature all 18 FSHL teams playing nine games each night on all three sheets of ice at the Iceplex. Other festivities for the evening include Panthers forward Cory Stillman dropping the ceremonial puck, the Cooper City High School ROTC honor Guard presenting the colors, a performance from the Western High School Marching Band and the singing of the National anthem by the North Broward Prep Choir.
The teams include American Heritage (Flanigan), Archbishop McCarthy, Boca Raton, Cardinal Gibbons, Cooper City, Coral Glades, Cypress Bay (blue and gold teams), East Side (Pine Crest School/Pompano HS/Monarch HS), North Broward Prep, St. Thomas Aquinas (blue and gold teams), Marjorie Stoneman Douglas (silver and maroon teams), Taravella, University School (Nova HS/South Plantation HS), and Western High School.
