G Jacob Markstrom & RW Michal Repik Reassigned to San Antonio (AHL)

SUNRISE, FL – Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today G Jacob Markstrom and RW Michal Repik have been reassigned to San Antonio (AHL).

Markstrom, 21, has played in six games with the Panthers this season going 2-3-1 with a .928 save percentage. The Gavle, Sweden native has posted a 2-3-0 record with the San Antonio Rampage this year. Markstrom was drafted by Florida in the first round (31st overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
 Repik, 22, has played in five games with Florida this season registering no points and two PIM. The Vlasim, Czech Republic native has appeared in 14 games with the San Antonio Rampage this season registering nine points (2-7-9). Repik was drafted by Florida with their second choice (40th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Florida (12-7-4) continues their four game road trip with a visit to Raleigh tomorrow night when they take on the Carolina Hurricanes at 7 p.m. The game can be seen live on FOX Sports Florida and heard on 560 WQAM.
