Florida Recalls Glass & Repik

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Jacques Martin announced today that the club recalled LW Tanner Glass and RW Michal Repik from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Both Glass and Repik are expected to play tonight as the Panthers take on the Ottawa Senators at Scotiabank Place. The game would mark Repik's NHL debut.

Glass, 25, has played in 24 games with Rochester this season recording nine points (4-5-9) and 69 PIM. He appeared in 41 games with the Panthers last season recording one goal and one assist with 39 PIM. Florida selected Glass with its 13th choice (265th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Repik, 19, paces the Americans with 14 points (6-8-14) in 24 games played this year. He played in four games with the Panthers in the preseason scoring one goal with six PIM. Repik was selected by Florida with its second choice (40th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry  Draft.

Florida (11-12-3) begins a five-game road trip tonight in Ottawa against the Senators. The game can be seen on FS Florida and heard on 790 The Ticket beginning at 7:30 p.m.
