Florida Panthers to Unveil New Logo & Uniforms on June 2 at BB&T Center

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that the team will hold a viewing party to unveil its new logo and uniforms on Thursday, June 2 at the BB&T Center at 7:00 p.m. Activities on the JetBlue tarmac in front of the arena will begin at 5:00 p.m. and doors will open (Gates 5 & 6) at 6:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Panthers defensemen Aaron Ekblad and Steven Kampfer as well as forwards Vincent Trocheck and Shawn Thornton will be at the BB&T Center to introduce the Panthers new logo as well as home and away uniforms. The unveiling will take place on the arena floor beginning at 7:00 p.m. A round table discussion with Chairman, Owner & Governor Vincent Viola and son John Viola, as well as Ekblad and Thornton will take place following the unveiling.
Activities on the JetBlue tarmac will include music, a bounce house, slap shot station and ball hockey. Stanley C. Panther and members of the Panthers Energy Team will also be in attendance. Food and beverage items will be available for purchase. In addition, 300 lucky fans will win a chance to take a “selfie” with Ekblad, Kampfer, Trocheck or Thornton following the event.
Merchandise with the new Panthers logo will be available for sale based on availability. Items for sale will include polos, t-shirts and hats. Additional merchandise will be available online at www.shop.nhl.com following the event.
