SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Florida Panthers will “Paint The Town Red” beginning Friday, June 17 as part of the Cats’ new “We See Red” marketing campaign. This grassroots marketing initiative will start Friday when every Panthers full-time staff member will blanket South Florida hot spots such as downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Sunrise, Plantation,
Panthers red-clad staff members will reward any fans wearing red with a “We See Red” reward ticket and the opportunity to register to win the new Panthers home jersey, t-shirt or hat, purchase “We See Red Pack” tickets, learn about the “We See Red” campaign, and more.
Fans will also be encouraged to take photos in their red attire and post them on Facebook. Friday’s festivities will culminate with the Panthers staff meeting on the Panthers Patio at Duffy’s Sports Grill in Plantation at 5 p.m.
The “We See Red Pack” is available now for new ticket buyers. All new full season of half season ticket buyers in the lower bowl or Lexus Club Level will receive a new replica Panthers home jersey, a 2011-12 team signed stick, an invitation to an exclusive 2011-12 New Florida Panthers Welcome Party, entry to a Panthers road trip fly away contest, and more.
“We See Red” signifies the Panthers’ passion, aggressiveness, new blood, attitude, desire and commitment to winning under the leadership of General Manager Dale Tallon and Head Coach Kevin Dineen. Coinciding with the campaign, the Panthers will also unveil a new home jersey at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft on June 24. The jersey will feature the Cats’ “true colors” and will be worn by the team’s first pick – currently No. 3 overall.
