The Florida Panthers today announced today that the club will open training camp with medical and physical testing on Thursday, Sept. 18 at BB&T Center. The team will hold their first on-ice practice of training camp on Friday, Sept. 19, beginning at 10 a.m. at the JetBlue Training Facility at the Panthers IceDen. A complete training schedule and roster will be announced next week.
In addition, the club announced plans for Panthers Fan Fest that will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21 at Panthers IceDen. The Panthers Fan Fest consists of two days of fun-filled activities, including exclusive season seat owner events, to mark the beginning of Panthers training camp.
Saturday, Sept. 20
- Panthers open practice: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Broadcaster’s question and answer with Steve Goldstein, Denis Potvin and Bill Lindsay hosted by Randy Moller: 12:30 p.m. – 1 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 21
- Panthers open practice: 10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
- Panthers intra-squad scrimmage: 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
- Player autographs post scrimmage (all fans):
11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. & 12:45 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
- Food trucks at IceDen: Noon – 2 p.m.

Other festivities at Panthers Fan Fest include an appearance by Stanley C. Panther and Fox Sports Florida Girls, as well as interactive games and activities, the Panthers bounce house and much more. Panthers sales representatives will also be on hand to answer questions and speak about the different ticket options that are available this season. The Florida Panthers open the 2014-2015 season on Thursday, Oct. 9, in Tampa Bay against the Lightning. The Panthers open the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, Oct. 11, when they host the New Jersey Devils at 7 p.m.
