Florida Panthers To Hold Pride Night on Saturday, Feb. 8 at BB&T Center

SUNRISE, Fla -- The Florida Panthers announced today that they will hold Pride Night presented by NBC6 on Saturday, Feb. 8 when the Panthers host the Pittsburgh Penguins at BB&T Center at 7 p.m. The fifth-annual pride night will welcome Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis for a ceremonial puck drop.

Panthers players will use rainbow pride tape during warmups that night. Fans can purchase mystery signed Pride pucks at the Florida Panthers Foundation table outside of Club Lexus with all proceeds benefitting the Foundation. The South Florida Gay Men's Chorus will perform the National Anthem that night. Fans can also enjoy a live band at the Coors Light Cold Zone prior to the Panthers vs. Penguins matchup.

The Panthers will be also be celebrating the city of Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors on Feb. 8 as part of Territory Takeover Saturdays. Fans who show their Fort Lauderdale or Wilton Manors resident ID will receive special pricing at all Coca-Cola and participating concession stands as well as special pricing at the Coors Light Cold Zone for those 21+ with ID.
