Florida Panthers Reduce Roster to 27 Players

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations Dale Tallon announced today that the Panthers have reduced their training camp roster to 27 players.

The Panthers assigned four players to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds: forwards Connor Brickley, Dryden Hunt and Kyle Rau and defenseman MacKenzie Weegar .

Forward Logan Shaw , defenseman Jakub Kindl and goaltender Reto Berra have been placed on waivers and upon clearing waivers will report to Springfield (AHL).

Defenseman Adam Pardy has been released from his professional try out.

The Florida Panthers open the regular season at the BB&T Center on Oct. 13 against the New Jersey Devils. Full and partial ticket packages are now available that include flexible payment plans.
