Florida Panthers Recall RW Anthony Stewart

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager and Head Coach Jacques Martin announced today that RW Anthony Stewart has been recalled from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Stewart, 22, joins the Panthers for the third time this season. He has played in six games with the Panthers without recording a point. Stewart has played in 16 games with Rochester this year recording 17 points (7-10-17) in 16 games played with 22 PIM.

Stewart was originally drafted by the Panthers with their second choice (25th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The Panthers continue their five game home stand this evening when they host the Washington Capitals at 7 p.m. tonight.
