Florida Panthers Recall D Jason Garrison

SUNRISE, FL – Florida Panthers General Manager Randy Sexton announced today that the club has recalled D Jason Garrison from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Garrison, 24, earns his second recall of the season to the Panthers. He has appeared in one game with Florida this season (Oct. 10 vs. New Jersey), logging 12:19 in ice time. Garrison has played in six games with Rochester this year scoring one goal with four assists.

A native of White Rock, British Columbia, Garrison skated in his NHL debut with the Panthers on Oct. 25, 2008. Garrison completed the 2008-09 campaign as Rochester’s top scoring defenseman and fourth overall on the club with 35 points (8-27-35) in 75 games.

Florida visits the Philadelphia Flyers tonight, a game that can be seen on FS Florida and heard on SportsTalk 790 The Ticket at 7 p.m.
