Florida Panthers Recall C Kamil Kreps

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager and Head Coach Jacques Martin announced today that the club has recalled C Kamil Kreps from the Rochester Americans (AHL).


Kreps, 22, was one of the final cuts from this year’s training camp, playing in five games with the Panthers during the preseason.  Last season, he played in 14 games with Florida registering a goal and an assist. He made his NHL debut on Jan. 7, 2007 against the Vancouver Canucks.

The Czech Republic native also appeared in 50 games with Rochester last year, scoring 14 goals with 21 assists. Kreps was originally drafted by the Panthers with their third choice (38th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
