SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has re-signed C Mark Cullen to a one-year contract.
“Mark is a high character, depth player who we are pleased to have back within our organization,” said Tallon. “He suffered an unfortunate injury in training camp last season, but he is fully recovered and we look forward to his contributions to the Panthers organization.”
Cullen, 32, appeared in 28 games with the Rochester Americans (AHL) last season recording 14 points (5-9-14). The 5-foot-11, 190-pound center has accumulated 16 points (7-9-16) in 32 career NHL games with Chicago (2005-06) and Philadelphia (2006-07). The Virginia, Minnesota native was originally signed by Florida as a free agent on July 2, 2010.
