Florida Panthers IceDen to Host Try Hockey for Free Clinic on November 7

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that in a partnership with USA Hockey, the club will be hosting four Try Hockey for Free clinics on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Four South Florida rinks in the tri-county area, including the Florida Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, will join 500 hockey associations across the country for USA Hockey’s Try Hockey for Free Day. The Try Hockey for Free initiative is designed to introduce the sport of hockey to children ages 4-9. Sticks and skates are provided for the first-time hockey players.

The on-ice session at Florida Panthers IceDen will feature instruction from Panthers Alumni including, Serge Payer and Peter Worrell.

“We look forward to welcoming families to the Florida Panthers IceDen to try our great sport of ice hockey” said Jeff Campol, Vice President and General Manager of the Florida Panthers IceDen. “Our goal is for these families to enjoy watching their kids learn new skills with big smiles on their faces.”
