SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that the Florida Panthers IceDen will host the sixth annual Hockeyfest on Saturday, May 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hockey players and fans are encouraged to come out and demo new hockey equipment through an interactive experience. The event is free and open to the public.
Hockeyfest will feature exclusive demo opportunities from top equipment manufacturers including Bauer, CCM, Warrior and True. A new addition to this year’s Hockeyfest is an outdoor component with activities including: street hockey, music, inflatables, food trucks and a video game truck. Public skating will also be available from 1-3 p.m. for $10.
Stanley C. Panther, the Panthers Energy Team as well as select Panthers players and broadcasters will be in attendance for autograph and photo opportunities throughout the day.
Located in Coral Springs the Florida Panthers IceDen is the official practice facility of the Florida Panthers. The 125,000-square-foot venue includes three sheets of ice. Open 364 days a year, the venue welcomes more than one million guests annually.
