Florida Panthers Foundation Announces Third Annual Ice & Dice Casino Night

SUNRISE, FL – The Florida Panthers Foundation today announced plans for its Third Annual Ice & Dice Casino Night presented by Publix Supermarkets, to be held on Thursday, February 28 at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa.
The Third Annual Ice & Dice Casino Night will feature the entire Florida Panthers team serving as dealers at the Las Vegas-style event. Individual tickets to the event are $250, with each guest receiving $250 in gaming chips. The evening will feature a wonderful silent auction, amazing casino prizes and an exciting live auction.
Ice & Dice is also sponsored by Lexus, BankAtlantic, Jill and Cliff Viner – Vice Chairman Florida Panthers Hockey Club, Marleen & Harold Forkas, Steven D. Gelbard, M.D., P.A., Sziro Jewelry, the Miami Herald, HoneyBaked Ham, Marketing Depot USA, FSN Florida, Millennium Laser Eye Centers and Bud Light. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Florida Panthers Foundation and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood.

Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital has been named as a preferred beneficiary of the Florida Panthers Foundation. The hospital will receive $500 from the Foundation for every Panthers goal scored at the BankAtlantic Center during the 2007-08 season.
Over the past year the Florida Panthers Foundation has donated funds to the following organizations: The Andy Roddick Foundation, the Transplant Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, Florence Fuller Child Development Centers, Goldie’s Gang, Deliver the Dream and the Jewish National Fund.
Additionally, the Florida Panthers Foundation has donated Florida Panthers game tickets and auction items including team-signed jerseys and sticks and Zamboni rides to various South Florida charities.
