Fundraiser to be held on Friday, October 26

SUNRISE, FL – The Florida Panthers Foundation today announced plans for its first “Mystery Puck Night” of the 2007-08 season. This fundraiser will be held on Friday, October 26 as the Panthers take on the visiting Buffalo Sabres at the BankAtlantic Center. The Foundation will only offer 150 pucks for sale. Each puck sold will be signed by a member of the Florida Panthers and will be sold for $25. Five lucky pucks will be signed in gold and the recipients of those pucks will win a fabulous prize.

“We are excited to bring back our popular Mystery Puck Night as the Panthers take on the Buffalo Sabres,” said Executive Director Alaina Miller. “Our Mystery Puck Night was very well received last season and we are excited to once again offer fans the opportunity to purchase an autographed puck with the chance to win an additional prize.”

Pucks can be purchased at the Gameday Auction table as well as from staff members who will be roaming the concourse and selling pucks. All proceeds will benefit the Florida Panthers Foundation.

Over the past year the Florida Panthers Foundation has donated Florida Panthers game tickets and auction items including team-signed jerseys and sticks and Zamboni rides to various South Florida charities.
