SUNRISE, FL – The Florida Panthers Foundation today announced today that its first “Lucky Ducky” fundraiser will be held on Thursday, April 26 during the first Cats Cookout of the summer at the BankAtlantic Center. All proceeds will go toward the Florida Panthers Foundation.
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase one duck for $5 or five ducks for $20. Every fan that purchases a duck will receive a nominal prize, while select “Lucky Ducks” will yield autographed memorabilia, concert tickets or Florida Panthers tickets for the 2007-2008 season. The ducks can be purchased outside of Section 105.
“The ‘Lucky Ducky’ promotion is an exciting way to kick off our summer fundraising efforts,” said Florida Panthers Foundation Executive Director Alaina Miller. “On the heels of our successful lucky egg fundraiser and the ‘Shirts Off Our Backs’ auction, we wanted to create a unique opportunity for fans to continue to support the Florida Panthers Foundation during the summer.”
