Cats will Deliver Christmas Trees and Items to Trim the Tree

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment and the Florida Panthers announced today that D Mike Van Ryn, his wife Amber and Panthers staff will distribute trees, ornaments, and other holiday items to local families on Monday, Dec. 11 beginning at 6 p.m. Other select players from the team will be on hand to distribute items as well.

"The Panthers Foundation is so happy to be able to team up with Habitat for Humanity again on this wonderful initiative," said Vice President of Community Development Randy Moller. "We look forward to this event along with the other events scheduled next week beginning with the Panthers players hospital visits on Monday. Both of these events will enable the Panthers Foundation to stay involved in communities."

The Panthers will be delivering trees, tree stands and decorations at Harmony Village, a Habitat for Humanity community located at 3255 NW 75th Way. Harmony Village is the same community where, in 2003, a group of Panthers players helped to build a new house.
