Florida Panthers Announce Formation of New Dance Team

Panthers Ice Dancers by Sziro Jewelry To Debut in October

SUNRISE, Fla. - The Florida Panthers announced today Sziro Jewelry will sponsor the all-new Panthers Ice Dancers who will perform at all Panthers home games at the BankAtlantic Center. In addition, the team today named two new coaches Laura Davis and Cassandra Hall, who previously danced for the Miami Heat.

"We are very excited about Sziro Jewelery becoming the new sponsor of the all-new Panthers Ice Dancers," Sunrise Sports & Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Michael Yormark said. "The Panthers Ice Dancers by Sziro Jewelry will be a first-class act and a reflection of what Sziro's represents in the South Florida community."

The Panthers Ice Dancers by Sziro Jewelry will be an athletic, spirited and outgoing squad that will entertain the crowd at all home games. They will help distribute give-a-ways, assist with intermission activities and be on hand at player autograph sessions. The Panthers Ice Dancers by Sziro Jewelry impact will not be limited to the BankAtlantic Center, but they also will be available for charitable and community appearances, as well as with the team's marketing efforts in the South Florida.

"We are very proud to be the official sponsor of the Panthers Ice Dancers," said John Szirovatka, owner of Sziro Jewelry Designs Inc. in Coral Springs said. "This year's team will be made up of a group of fun-filled and energetic dancers who will be a fine representation in our community."

Laura is a Florida native, raised in Cooper City. She has studied dance for 12 years throughout the country. She has performed with such artists as: Gloria Estefan, Toni Braxton, Trina, Kanye West and Britney Spears. Additionally, she has been on numerous television shows including Arliss, Sabado Gigante and BET's 106th and Park. Laura's choreography has also been featured in Old Navy and NFL commercials. Before joining the Panthers, she was a Miami Heat Dancer for six seasons.

Cassandra is originally from San Antonio, Tex. and has been a Heat Dancer for two years. She has professionally danced for the past ten years and is also an experienced choreographer. Cassandra is currently working on her degree to become a marine biologist. She also has cheered with the Miami Dolphins for two years.

"Cassandra and I are very honored to be welcomed into the Panther family and we can't wait to begin assembling the Panthers Ice Dancers by Sziro Jewelry," new Panthers Ice Dancers Coach Laura said. "We look forward to getting to know all the loyal Panthers fans and are extremely excited to start the season in October.'"
