SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers General Manager Bill Zito announced today that forward Colin White has agreed to terms on a one-year contract.
"Colin is a competitive forward who approaches the game with consistent effort and skill," said Zito. "We like what he adds to our lineup and look forward to having him in South Florida."

White, 25, skated in 24 games with the Ottawa Senators in 2021-22, producing 10 points (3-7-10).
The 6-foot-1, 194-pound native of Boston, Mass., has amassed 98 points (36-62-98) over 224 career NHL games with Ottawa from 2016-17 to 2021-22. He also compiled 32 points (12-20-32) over 51 American Hockey League games (2016-17 to 2017-18, 2019-20) with the Binghamton/Belleville Senators.
On the international stage, White earned gold medals representing the United States at the 2017 IIHF U20 World Junior Championship, where he led the U.S. in goals (7), and at the 2015 U18 WJC, where he scored the tournament-winning goal. He has earned bronze medals at the 2018 IIHF World Championship and the 2016 U20 WJC.
Prior to his professional career, White played in 72 NCAA games with Boston College from 2015-16 to 2016-17, logging 76 points (35-41-76). He was named the Hockey East Rookie of the Year and to the Hockey East Second All-Star Team in 2015-16 after posting 43 points (19-24-43) in 37 games, the second-most on Boston College.
White was originally selected by the Senators in the first round (21st overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
