SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with defenseman Brady Keeper on a two-year, entry-level contract.

"Brady is a promising puck-moving defenseman who possesses strong offensive instincts and plays a physical game," said Tallon. "He has been a leader for the University of Maine and found success as one of the team's top defenders. We are excited for Brady to join the Panthers."

Keeper, 22, has appeared in 36 games with the University of Maine (NCAA), leading all Black Bears defensemen in goals (7), assists (15) and points (22). The 6-foot-2, 194-pound native of Cross Lake, Manitoba, played two seasons for the University of Maine (2017-18 to 2018-19), appearing in 73 games and producing 44 points (13-31-44).

Prior to his collegiate career, Keeper played 161 games for the Opaskwayak Cree Nation Blizzard of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (2013-14 to 2016-17), recording 133 points (52-81-133) and was named the league's top defenseman and most valuable player in 2016-17.
