Florida Panthers Agree To Entry Level Contract with F Eric Selleck

SUNRISE, FL – Florida Panthers General Manager Randy Sexton announced today the club has agreed to an entry level contract with F Eric Selleck.

 
Selleck, 22, paced the Oswego Lakers (NCAA-Division III) with 54 points (21-33-54) during the 2009-10 season and was recognized by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) as a 2010 RBK Hockey Division III All-America East First Team honoree. Selleck also finished as runner-up for the 2010 Sid Watson Award, which recognizes the nation's best Division III men's hockey player.
 
The Spencerville, Ontario native was selected as the 2010 Herb Hammond Most Valuable Player for the SUNY Athletic Conference and First Team All-SUNYAC. In addition, he was named the 2009 SUNYAC Rookie of the Year the previous year, becoming the first player in league history to receive both honors in consecutive seasons. Selleck has attended the Florida Panthers development camp each of the last two summers on a try-out basis.
