Florida Panthers Acquire D Jesse Blacker from Anaheim

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers Executive Vice-President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has acquired D Jesse Blacker and future draft pick considerations from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for D Colby Robak.

Blacker, 23, has appeared in 15 games for the Norfolk Admirals (AHL) this season registering five assists. The Toronto, Ontario native made his National Hockey League debut with Anaheim on Nov. 28, against Chicago. Blacker was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round (58th overall) in the 2009 NHL Draft.

Robak, 24, appeared in 42 games with Florida (2011-2015) recording three assists and 25 PIM.
