Panthers Kids Day

The Florida Panthers pulled out all the stops to celebrate Kids Day at FLA Live Arena on Monday - a day where public schools across the country are closed for Presidents Day.

Eight-year-old Pranysqa Mishra

as part of the festivities, after a Cub Scout pack presented the nation's colors.
The Savannah Bananas also stopped by the arena to help celebrate the special day. They are currently in Florida for their World Tour.

Goalie Spencer Knight donned a new mask, which featured artwork by patients at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Knight spent a day with the kids there earlier this year.

The celebrations extended to social media as well, as the Panthers Twitter account posted drawings from kids during the game.
The warmup photos were also kids' drawings of the players.

And the Panthers players - namely Eric Staal - even got new headshots after their goals.

The Panthers also changed their Twitter profile picture to a kid's drawing of the team logo.
It's fair to say Kids Day beats a school day anytime.
