The Florida Panthers ECHL minor league affiliate Florida Everblades advanced to the Division Finals Tuesday night, with a 4-0 win at Charlotte to complete a three-game series sweep of the Checkers.
Once again it was Panthers prospect Dustin Johner leading the way for the Blades with a goal and an assist. David Brine assisted on the series ending empty net goal. Johner had five points (2-3-5) and a plus-four rating in the short three-game series while Brine had four points (1-3-4).
