Dryden Hunt Signs Amateur Tryout with Portland Pirates (AHL)

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that forward Dryden Hunt has signed an amateur tryout with the Panthers American Hockey League affiliate, the Portland Pirates.

The 20-year old Hunt recorded 116 points (58-58-116) in 72 games with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League this season, ranking first in the league for goals and second in points. The 6-foot, 201-pound native of Nelson, British Columbia recorded 16 points (7-9-16) in 10 playoff games with Moose Jaw.

Hunt signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Panthers on March 2, 2016.
