D Dmitry Kulikov Inks Three-Year Contract with Florida Panthers

Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with D Dmitry Kulikov on a three-year contract.
“Dmitry is a young, talented and mobile defenseman with tremendous ability who we are pleased to have signed,” said Tallon. “He will be counted upon to be an integral part of our defense for the next several seasons.”
Kulikov, 23, appeared in a career high 81 games for Florida during the 2013-2014 season registering 19 points (8-11-19), while also setting a career high in goals with eight. The 6-foot-1, 204-pound defenseman played in his 300th career NHL game on March 18, against the San Jose Sharks and also scored his first career shorthanded goal on March 31, against the New Jersey Devils.
During his career in the National Hockey League, Kulikov has appeared in 313 games, all with Florida, scoring 24 goals with 75 assists and 201 penalty minutes. The Lipetsk, Russia native was drafted by Florida in the first round (14th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft.
