SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that, in accordance with the company’s Contract With The Community, it has donated $800,000 in kind against an annual goal of $1 million to charitable organizations within the South Florida community. Thus far, SSE has donated over 11,300 hockey and concert tickets to local charities totaling nearly $371,000. Over $420,000 has also been contributed in auction items to help local charities in fundraising efforts. Auction items include autographed memorabilia, premium tickets to hockey games and concerts, as well as one-of-a-kind Panthers experiences such as Zamboni rides, locker room tours, and meet and greets with Panthers players and personalities.
SSE donates to charitable organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Kids In Distress, Chef David’s Kidz Wishgrant Foundation Charity, Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and it’s Light The Night Walk, and many more.
