SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers wrapped up a busy week in the community that included hospital visits, post-game autographs, Toys for Tots collection, holiday wreath auctions, season seat holder holiday party and much more.

“Thanks to the generosity of our players and their families, we completed an unprecedented schedule of community outreach events that spanned a four day period,” Panthers President/COO Michael Yormark said. “Last week, our efforts were highlighted by our team hospital visits on Thursday and our Publix Kids Month post-game autographs, where our players signed for more than 750 children on Friday night. These community initiatives are just another example of Panthers All-Access and how our organization strives to be the most fan-friendly team in the South Florida community.”

Prior to both home games several of the Panthers wives/girlfriends along with members of the United States Marines collected more than 1,000 Toys for Tots. All the toys that were collected will be distributed to underprivileged children in South Florida.

The Panthers also raised more than $3,000 in their holiday wreath auction, where each player’s wife/girlfriend decorated a holiday wreath. All proceeds raised from the holiday wreath auction benefit the Florida Panthers foundation.
