Cats Recall LW David Booth from Rochester (AHL)

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers general manager and head coach Jacques Martin announced today that the club has recalled LW David Booth from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Booth, 22, will be making his third call-up to the Panthers this season. In seven games with Florida, Booth has one assist. The Detroit, Michigan native has played in 21 games for Rochester scoring five goals and six assists with a +6 rating.

Booth is scheduled to meet the Panthers this afternoon and he is eligible to skate tonight when Florida takes on the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:30 p.m. at the BankAtlantic Center. The Panthers will have one more home game in 2006, on Friday when the Montreal Canadiens make their final visit to South Florida.
