Cats Recall LW David Booth From Rochester (AHL)

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers general manager and head coach Jacques Martin announced today that the club has recalled LW David Booth, from the Rochester Americans (AHL). Booth will meet the team today in Boston.

Booth, 22, appeared in 14 games for Rochester, scoring two goals and six assists. Booth is tied for fifth on the team with a plus-7 rating. Last season, Booth played his senior season at Michigan State, accounting for 33 points (13-20-33) in 35 games. This fall, Booth appeared in five preseason games for the Cats, scoring one goal.

Tonight, Booth will make his NHL debut when the Florida Panthers take on the Boston Bruins at the TD Banknorth Garden at 7:00 p.m. The game can be seen on FSN-Florida or on the radio at 560 WQAM.
