Cats Maul Bruins 6-3

by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers

Goldie's Post-game Recap:

The Panthers broke out in a big way here in Boston. A 6-3 win in a game that saw the Cats come back from a goal down 3 times to tie it up going to the 3rd. A power play goal by Jozef Stumpel was the game winner and the insurance was provided by Nathan Horton's great rush up ice and feed to Olli Jokinen for the score. Gary Roberts added the empty netter. Stumpel centered Rostislav Olesz and Ville Peltonen and the Panthers may have found some magic. The line played well together with Olesz and Peltonen scoring goals and Stupmel coming up with 2 goals and 2 assists. Another strong performance by the team and they are finally rewarded with 2 points. The power play was excellent going 3 of 7. Ed Belfour made some big stops on quality scoring chances to earn the win. Next up...Toronto on Tuesday. It's been a great stay here in Boston. The Cats have won all 3 games with the Bruins this season.
