Cats Fall 6-0 in Ottawa

The Panthers have now been shut out in their last three games. The latest was a 6-0 shutout at the hands of the Ottawa Senators on Thursday night. The Senators have now put up 12 goals in the last two meetings and earned their first shutout of the season. The Panthers will look for some redemption against the team who started the scoreless streak when the Thrashers visit the BankAtlantic Center on Saturday night.

Dany Heatley, who scored a hat trick last Friday in the Senators 6-4 win scored two goals in the opening period and the Senators didn't look back. Goalie Alex Auld, after getting his second career shutout Tuesday night, was pulled from net for the second time this season.

The Panthers power play, good enough for third in the league is now 0 for their last 14 attempts capped off by an 0-5 effort against the Senators on Thursday.
