Cats Cookout Hosted By Tallon And DeBoer Draws Over 400

by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers
SUNRISE, FL. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the first Cats Cookout of the Summer hosted by Florida Panthers general manager Dale Tallon and Head Coach Pete DeBoer at the BankAtlantic Center on Thursday, June 10, was attended by over 400 fans.

Tallon and DeBoer were both on hand to mingle with fans, and take questions from the audience and Fox Sports Florida play-by-play man Steve “Goldie” Goldstein. In addition, the Panthers sold over 100 new season tickets as a result of the event, as the BankAtlantic Center’s reduced inventory continues to fill up during this offseason.
“We are extremely excited about last week’s Cats Cookout and our continued momentum on the sales front,” said Panthers president & COO Michael Yormark. “We are 100-percent ahead of last year’s new business goals, which we attribute mainly to the announcement of a more intimate seating capacity, our new dynamic pricing structure on single game tickets, and inventory that has become available through our season seat renewal campaign.”
Also in attendance were WQAM radio hosts Joe Rose and Sid Rosenberg, who announced the new Panthers-WQAM partnership on his show during a live remote from the BankAtlantic Center earlier in the evening.
Tallon and DeBoer also had the opportunity to meet with the South Florida media including representatives from WSVN, NBC6, the Sun Sentinel, Miami Herald and Palm Beach Post.
