The next Cats Classic that we bring to you comes from the 1999-2000 season: March 10, 2000, against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Tampa.

So what makes this particular game a classic?

Well, let's just say, it includes a two-goal comeback against a hated rival. That answer your question?

Florida held a distinct advantage in their series against Tampa during the season, winning the first three games of their five game set, yet found themselves down by a 3-1 score to the Lightning.

The Cats and Bolts played a scoreless first at the Ice Palace and it would take a 2-on-1 Brian Holzinger to Mike Johnson feed to break the score about eight and a half minutes into play in the second to break the tie. Pavel Kubina then made it 2-0 Bolts with a power play tally with 5:21 left in the middle frame.

Florida finally found the back of the net, thanks to a power play blast from defenseman Bret Hedican, 2:27 into the third period.

Then, 4:42 in, a weird play ensued as it appeared that Cats netminder had made "the save of the night", stopping Robert Petrovicky. The play continued down to the other end, where an eventual fight would break out. Petrovicky was credited with the goal after replay showed Kidd was a split second to late. That gave the Lightning 3-1 lead.

The Cats would keep on fighting, getting goals from Peter Worrell and Pavel Bure to knot the score at three, and then Mike Wilson would give them the lead for the first time.

The Cats would then hold on from there.

Jeff Rimer and Denis Potvin bring you the action from the Ice Palace.
