SUNRISE, Fla. – Trade Publication PollStar announced today that the BankAtlantic Center ranked No. 9 in the United States and No. 21 in the world in the publication’s third quarter arena venue rankings. The ‘Center of it All’ had an exciting first nine months of entertainment in 2009 including big shows such as Metallica, Depeche Mode, Bruce Springsteen, Sugarland, Lil Wayne, the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Beyonce, Fleetwood Mac, Il Divo, 15 performances of Cirque Du Soleil – Saltimbanco, Iron Maiden, Yanni Voices, Celine Dion, The Eagles, Dancing With The Stars, WWE Raw, Don King’s St. Valentine’s Day Massacre on HBO, and more.

The BankAtlantic Center ranked ahead of such renowned venues as the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Izod Center in New Jersey, American Airlines Center in Dallas, Verizon Center in Washington, DC, The Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan, Honda Center in Anaheim and more.
