SUNRISE, Fla. – Trade Publication PollStar announced today that the BankAtlantic Center ranked No. 12 in the United States and No. 28 in the world in the publication’s third quarter arena venue rankings. The BankAtlantic Center continues to establish itself as one of the hottest buildings in Florida and an elite venue worldwide, breaking the national top 15 for the fourth time in the last six rankings, including an arena-best No. 3 U.S. ranking following the second quarter of 2009, and a Building of the Year nomination following 2008.
The BankAtlantic Center had an incredible first nine months of entertainment in 2010 including huge shows from some of the biggest names in entertainment such as Bon Jovi, Michael Buble, Eric Clapton, Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Dane Cook, Jay-Z, Jimmy Buffett, Carole King & James Taylor, Justin Bieber, Shakira, Aerosmith and more. The BankAtlantic Center has even more huge shows on the horizon including the Eagles, Roger Waters, Barry Manilow, and Lady Gaga.

The BankAtlantic Center ranked ahead of such renowned venues as the TD Garden in Boston, the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., the Toyota Center in Houston, the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, the Pepsi Center in Denver, and more.
