The Florida Panthers and its parent company Sunrise Sports & Entertainment (SSE), LLC announced today that Amy Perry has been named Chief Financial Officer.
“Amy has worked very diligently since joining our organization and is most deserving of this promotion,” said Florida Panthers Executive Chairman Peter Luukko. “She will continue to oversee the accounting department and will be responsible for handling budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for SSE and the Florida Panthers.”
Perry joined the Florida Panthers in September 2014 as the club’s Director of Corporate Accounting/Controller after spending 17 years working in the accounting department at Cross Country Healthcare.
While at Cross Country Healthcare, Perry worked on the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) and served as Controller of its largest subsidiary Cross Country Staffing, located in Boca Raton. After serving as Controller, Perry was promoted to Director of Corporate Accounting for Cross Country Staffing, where she worked on due diligence for three mergers, while overseeing the accounting and AP departments. Perry started her career as a staff accountant with TravCorps in Boston in 1998.
Perry graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
