In this week's Look Ahead, the Cats host the Canucks twelve days after defeating them 3-1 in Vancouver and two Panthers players will take to the ice in Columbus for NHL All-Star Weekend.

STORYLINES TO WATCH

- Florida is one overtime win away from their 100th overtime victory in franchise history.

- F Nick Bjugstad is one goal away from tying his career-high for goals in a season (16).

- F Tomas Fleischmann is four points away from reaching his 300th career point.

- G Roberto Luongo set to play in NHL All-Star Game.

- D Aaron Ekblad is set to participate in the NHL All-Star Skills Competition.

The Cats downed the Canucks 3-1 on Jan. 8 in Vancouver. G Roberto Luongo returned to Vancouver for the first time since being traded to Florida on Mar. 4, 2014. Earning a win, a standing ovation and first star honors for stopping 32 of 33 shots against his former team. The win also marked a new milestone for Luongo as he has now beaten all 30 NHL teams.

2015 NHL ALL-STAR WEEKEND

For the first time since 2004, Luongo will represent the Panthers at the NHL All-Star Game. Expected to skate in his fourth NHL All-Star Game, the veteran netminder is one of six goalies set to participate. The 18-year old, Ekblad is slated to join the All-Stars on the ice for the NHL All-Star Skills Competition. Ekblad is one of six rookies chosen to participate. The All-Star festivities will take place at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
