A Look Ahead: Apr. 6 - Apr. 11

In the final two games of the 2014-15 regular season, the Florida Panthers will host their Atlantic Division rivals from Boston before closing out the season against the New Jersey Devils.

STORYLINES TO WATCH

-Roberto Luongo is one win shy of tying Chris Osgood (401) for tenth all-time on the NHL goaltending wins list.

JAGR WATCH

-Jaromir Jagr will play two of his former teams this week, including the Devils for the first time since being traded to Florida.

-Jagr is close to tying/passing several milestones:

- One point shy of passing Ron Francis (1,798 P) for sole possession of fourth all-time on the NHL points list.

- One power play goal shy of tying Wayne Gretzky (204 PPG) for 14th all-time on the NHL power play goals list.

- One game shy of tying Alex Delvecchio (1,549 GP) for 11th all-time on the NHL games played list.

- Two assists shy of tying Adam Oates (1,077) for sixth all-time on the NHL assists list.

With a 1-1-1 record against the Bruins this season, the Panthers will look to earn their second consecutive home win against Boston on Thursday. Their last meeting in South Florida (March 21), resulted in a 2-1 shootout win for the Panthers, snapping a nine-game winless streak to the Bruins. The Panthers fell 3-2 in their most recent meeting with the Bruins at TD Garden in Boston on March 31.

Florida opened the season at home against New Jersey and will close it against the same opponent. Falling 5-1 to the Devils on opening night, the Panthers were downed 3-1 in New Jersey for their second match-up on Jan. 31. With a 0-2-0 record for Florida in the season series, the Panthers look to reverse their fortunes against the Devils by avoiding a season series sweep. For the first time this season, former Devil F Jaromir Jagr will face his old club for the first time since being traded to Florida.

- Florida captain D Willie Mitchell was selected by New Jersey in the eighth round (199th overall) of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Mitchell played 18 games for New Jersey (1999-01), recording two assists and 29 PIM.
